About Me

I am a Clinical Psychologist with a private practice in Ramsey, NJ. I obtained my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Bowling Green State University in 2008, completed my Predoctoral Internship in community mental health at Westchester Jewish Community Services, and my postdoctoral fellowship in residential eating disorder treatment at The Renfrew Center of Philadelphia.

I have worked in many different settings, including outpatient clinics, nursing homes, residential programs, eating disorder treatment facilities, and child and adolescent mental health clinics. Therefore, I am able to work with many different populations. In my current practice, I am available for the treatment of adults, including older adults, and couples.

My clinical orientation is integrative, which means that I tailor my treatment method based on the needs and qualities of each client. Generally, my treatment approach draws upon cognitive behavioral, humanistic, family systems, and/or psychodynamic theories. Central to my work with every client, however, is a strong therapeutic relationship. Therefore, I strive to create a relationship with each client that is based upon genuine compassion, trust, and respect.
